Start by understanding the structure of a band matrix and how it affects the application of Strassen's algorithm for matrix inversion.

Consider how the bandwidth (number of non-zero diagonals) influences the partitioning strategy in Strassen's method and the resulting computational complexity.

Explore the recursive inversion process of a band matrix using Strassen's algorithm, focusing on how intermediate submatrices maintain or reduce the bandwidth during inversion.
